Overview
✔ The FSSAI Central License is issued by the central office of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in New Delhi.
✔ FSSAI is responsible for setting food safety and standards in India and ensuring that food is safe, hygienic and of quality.
✔ To obtain an FSSAI Central License, food businesses must meet certain criteria, such as having a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 20 crores, having a centralized kitchen and laboratory facilities, and having a functional quality management system in place.
